i'm here. we got back from south america a few days ago. i'm with my girlfriend in minnesota, but we'll be back in madison tonight. still re-adjusting to having nothing to do for 2 weeks. i have a lot of catching up to do with old friends and shit. i've basically been MIA for the past 5 weeks. tonight i have every intention of not remember what i did tonight. you know what i mean. you know how we do. also i need to get a pager. medical school is for jerks and lesbians. transmission sent by dr. j // 2:55:00 PM // linky link |

Hometown: beloit, wisco College: UW Madison for undergrad and ugh, again for med school Year in college/major or concentration: just polished off the 2nd year of med school Summer job/internship: studying for boards 3 favorite albums? i'm bad at these "favorite of all-time" sort of things, my tastes change constantly. i can say that i'll always love guns n' roses - appetite for destruction; snoop dogg - doggystyle; almost any motown/funk/soul. 3 favorite movies? high fidelity and big, for sure. maybe throw battle royale in there, that was badass. so was zatoichi. and more recently, eternal sunshine or kill bill. dude where's my car was hilarious, but only after repeated viewings. old school and wet hot american summer made me hurt with laughter. 3 favorite 80's sitcoms? the wonder years, full house/family matters (they're like the same show), cosby (which is SO unfunny now that i'm older). 3 favorite current tv shows? queer eye, real world san diego/real world road rules challenge, that 70's show What is a badonkadonk? sheeit What's your favorite brand of beer? i prefer a jack and coke, but i do enjoy spotted cow and newcastle. and who doesn't love miller high life. What's spinning in you cd player(s) right now? jason forrest - the unrelenting songs of the post 1979 disco crash, dusty springfield - dusty in memphis, 9th wonder - god's stepson, the shins - chutes too narrow, modest mouse - good news ... Who would win in a fight between Arnold from "Different Strokes" and Webster from "Webster,” and why? webster was a bitch and would go down in a second Favorite Simpsons character and/or episode: favorite episode is the one where bart helps the blind guy and then police chief wiggum and those two other cops end up smoking his stash at the end, and they're all singing bob marley's "jammin", and wiggum's all "hey shut up, shut up, i love this song!" its awesome. Favorite NBA, NHL, NFL and MLB team: man i hardly follow sports anymore. its an effort just to keep up with news. in the past i was always a big bulls fan, but that's because i always was a jordan fan. hockey i almost never followed, really. football we'd have to go with the packers, home-state-pride. and as for baseball, well i never really followed that either. its no fun always cheering for the brewers because they usually suck ass. although i do have a lot of friends obsessed with the cubbies so i can't help but cheer them on from time to time. transmission sent by dr. j // 11:29:00 AM // linky link |
